Carbon Pencil Grade HB for Sketching and Drawing
This pencil provides the right balance between high-concentration charcoal powders, graphite, and black carbon pigment, mixed in a minimum ratio to increase black density. It is used to give high density to drawings, completing volumes and deep dark areas. This blended drawing pencil combines dry matter with natural and synthetic oils in balanced powders to achieve the most energetic, durable, and powerful black among drawing pencils.
The pressure applied to the sheet determines the density of the stroke and the natural brightness of the pencil, which first appears on a wide background. The natural binder ensures perfect adhesion of the pigments to the paper. When mixed with charcoal, which is completely matte, carbon leaves a semi-opaque black mark and increases pressure on the paper, enhancing the stroke effect and providing natural brightness.
Carbon is dense and rich, adheres well to paper, and it is recommended to use a fixative spray to prevent marks and smudges.
